Good News!
My surgeon called me earlier this evening. He said I got the best possible news, the margins of the area he removed were clean and cancer free. He also told me that my lymph node was clear. There were two lonely cells in the entire node that were stained by the marking dye. Upon a closer look, they did not appear to be breast cancer cells. "They could be other benign cells like skin cells or many other things", he said. They only check to see if they are cancer. YEAH! Now I power through the chemo and radiation treatments and they wipe out any possibility that a stray cell or two passed through the blood to show up somewhere else and I'm cured!
